How do I buy a sign?

We’re a small business, and know you are too, and our goal is to simplify the entire process for you. We don’t have a sales team, and we don’t run off of gimmicks, and our business is built on the mentality that purchasing a sign for your business should be as simple as borrowing a leaf blower from your neighbor (the one on the left, not the one on the right.) -
How much does a sign cost at D3?
The price of every sign can vary drastically, especially when every piece is designed and built from the ground up to specifically tailed to each customers individual goals and expectation. Things like detail, size, shape, and lighting options all drive the price my varying amounts.
However our acrylic signs (our most popular type) start at $300 and can easily exceed $1000, with most of our customers finding themselves extremely satisfied in the $600-$800 range. -
Why does the cost vary so much?
The cost varies so much because every sign is different, and every single customer has different goals and expectations.
At the end of the day, an XL sign with a complicated logo, intricate lighting, framed in real cedar, simply requires more materials and labor hours than a regular sized sign with a simple logo and no lights. -
Do you prep the wall and install signs?
We offer installation for every sign we build, but we do recommend hiring an independent contractor or handyman to complete the necessary wall prep in order to save you money.
However since most of our customers simply want to make one phone call and have everything taken care of, just say the word and we’ll take care of everything. -
Do I need my original high quality logo file?
Yes, we require high quality vector files of your logo for production (.AI, .SVG, .EPS, or .DXF.). This is to ensure is to ensure that our process is smooth, and your sign is made to the highest of quality.
If you only have a raster file (.JPG, .PNG, screenshot, or photo) we may need to recreate your logo by hand. A $50 design fee applies for this service.

Look, we know you can buy a custom sign online, oftentimes for substantially less than the products we sell. Our goal isn’t cheap, our goal is right.
